Hi!  If you're reading this, you probably know that my name's Max, and I've set off to cross the United States via bicycle during the summer of 2010.

I'm not particularly experienced with bicycles  - hopefully you bike guys can give me advice as I need it!  The  idea to do this came from hearing of others that had done the same thing, and the idea that I ought to get a broad view of the country before heading off into the Navy.

For those of you who don't know, I'm not a prolific photographer OR writer, but I'll do my best to keep this updated.  Next milestone: Departure on May 15!
